Requirements for sales tax registration in Pakistan:

Following are the main requirements for Sales Tax Registration procedure in Pakistan, however, it may vary from time to time:-

For Sole Proprietorship /Business Individual:

  • Copy of valid CNIC
  • Business NTN number
  • Business Bank Account certificate
  • Rent Agreement on the name of business / property papers on the name of business owner
  • Electric Bill, not older than three months
  • Printing Letter Head, company stamp /seal
  • Mobile number must be on the name business owner
  • email, which was not previously used in FBR database.

For Registered Firm / AOP / Form C:

  • Copy of valid CNICs of All partners
  • Business NTN number of all partners
  • Attested copy of Partnership Deed
  • Attested copy of Form C registration certificate
  • Business Bank Account certificate in the name of firm
  • Rent Agreement on the registered firm / property papers on one of the business partner
  • Electric Bill, not older than three months
  • Printing Letter Head, company stamp /seal
  • Mobile number must be on the name of partner
  • email, which was not previously used in FBR database.

For Private Limited Company Registration / Public company / Single Member company:

  • Copy of valid CNICs of All Directors
  • Business NTN number of all Directors
  • Attested copy of Incorporation certificate
  • Attested copy of Form 1, Form 29, Form 21, MOA /AOA
  • Business Bank Account certificate in the name of company
  • Rent Agreement on the registered company/ property papers on one of the business parnter
  • Electric Bill, not older than three months
  • Printing Letter Head, company stamp /seal
  • Mobile number must be on the name of partner
  • email, which was not previously used in FBR database.
